Salzgitter signs major renewable-power deal for low-carbon steel

Salzgitter Flachstahl and Zelestra agreed a long-term power supply contract covering 147 MW of solar capacity and 79 MW / 237 MWh of battery storage across two projects. The renewable electricity will support lower-carbon steel production under SALCOS.
