Private MTO beta access

Enter your invitation code to unlock AI analysis for 12 hours. Privacy consent is still required before sending your MTO.

AI mode sends pasted content to OpenAI only after confirmation. Local mode does not send data externally.

To interpret this MTO, the material data will be sent to MetalMate’s OpenAI API integration for processing. MetalMate does not use your MTO as public content. Review confidential-data requirements before continuing.

OpenAI API inputs and outputs are not used to train models by default unless the API organization opts in to data sharing. Standard abuse-monitoring logs may be retained by OpenAI for up to 30 days, unless other retention controls apply to the organization. MetalMate requests store: false, does not send this MTO to web search, and keeps results only in this page’s memory. This is not a zero-retention guarantee. OpenAI data controls

How it works

Paste → Analyze → Review exceptions → Export. AI mode requires beta access and privacy confirmation. Results remain in this page’s memory; clear or reload to remove them.

Calculation rules

Application code calculates theoretical weights. Source weights stay separate. A difference above 2% (minimum 0.1 kg) asks for review; this is not a product-standard tolerance. Critical ambiguity blocks calculation. Density uses an approved exact reference or a controlled 7,850 kg/m³ assumption for confidently identified carbon/low-alloy structural steel. Details retain all assumptions and sources.

Current limitations

Pipe, density and structural references have limited coverage; conflicts remain blocked. Local parsing supports five columns: product, grade, size (mm), length (m), quantity, with a flagged steel-density assumption. The example uses this local format. Paste-only beta; no file upload.
